Michigan Wolverines football has four players that are among the top 100 in the new EA Sports College Football 26 video game — graduate safety Rod Moore, senior EDGE Derrick Moore, graduate offensive lineman Giovanni El-Hadi and graduate defensive tackle Rayshaun Benny.

Rod Moore: 92 overall

Moore is tied as the third-highest ranked safety in the game with Duke’s Terry Moore and TCU’s Bud Clark, behind only Ohio State’s Caleb Downs (96) and Oregon’s Dillion Thieneman (93).

Moore missed the entire 2024 campaign with a torn ACL and is nearing the end of a long recovery. He revealed in May that he hadn’t run on ground for 14 months.

The 6-foot-0, 198-pounder had the game-sealing interception to beat Ohio State in 2023, his most famous play. He appeared in 12 games with 11 starts that season, racking up 38 tackles — including 1 for loss — and 2 interceptions. In 2022, he led the squad with 4 picks, adding 7 pass breakups, 71 tackles, 1.5 stops for loss and a half-sack.

Derrick Moore: 91 overall

Moore is tied as the ninth-highest rated defensive end in the game.

Moore posted 23 tackles with 6 for loss and 4 sacks last season, serving as one of Michigan’s top pass rushers in his first year as a starter. As a backup in 2023, he registered 5 sacks and had the tackle on fourth down in overtime to clinch the College Football Playoff semifinal victory over Alabama.

Giovanni El-Hadi: 91 overall

El-Hadi is tied as the fifth-highest rated offensive guard in the game. Only one Big Ten guard — Penn State’s Olaivavega Ioane — ranks ahead of him as a 92 overall.

The 6-foot-5, 310-pounder started all 13 games at right guard last season, and has flipped over to left guard this offseason. He’s widely expected to start at that spot in 2025. He was named the Wolverines’ top offensive lineman in 2024.

Rayshaun Benny: 91 overall

There are only four defensive tackles that have higher overall ratings than Benny.

After years of backing up NFL talent, it’s Benny’s turn to break out at Michigan. The 6-foot-4, 296-pounder played a major role in 2024, posting 29 tackles with 3.5 for loss and 1.5 sacks.
