Michigan continued to solidify a Top 10 recruiting class this week by flipping two under-the-radar senior risers from Midwest schools. Three-star linebacker Aden Reeder and three-star offensive tackle Tommy Fraumann both pledged to the Wolverines within the past 24 hours.

Following their decisions, U-M’s class still ranks No. 10 nationally. Michigan has maintained a Top 10 class for the majority of this recruiting cycle after finishing with the No. 6 class the year before. The Wolverines rank No. 4 in the Big Ten, trailing only USC (No.1 nationally), Oregon (No. 3) and Ohio State (No. 8).

With less than a month to go before signing day, the program’s class is nearly complete. Michigan wants to secure a commitment from one more offensive lineman, another linebacker and at least one cornerback.

Reeder was the second linebacker pledge of the cycle. He’s a three-star prospect with an ‘89’ prospect rating by Rivals, slotting him as the No. 33 linebacker nationally. The Michigan commit is a 6-3, 210 pound senior from Cincinnati (Ohio) St. Xavier High. He officially visited U-M last week and pledged to the program during that visit, making the news public Thursday morning after decommitting from Wisconsin Monday.

Fraumann’s recruitment flew under-the-radar, but the Wolverines quickly emerged as the clear team to beat for the 6-7, 250 pound tackle out of Wilmette (Ill.) Loyola Academy. He’s a legacy recruit for Michigan with extremely strong ties to the university. Michigan brought him in for an official visit for the Washington game and, at some point this fall, extended a low-key offer. Fraumann previously committed to Miami (Ohio) in April.

Michigan now has 24 commits in its 2026 recruiting class — Fraumann, three-star linebacker Aden Reeder, five-star running back Savion Hiter, five-star Washington (D.C.) Gonzaga EDGE Carter Meadows, Top 100 Honolulu (Hawaii) Kamehameha offensive tackle Malakai Lee, Top 100 St. Louis (Mo.) DeSmet defensive lineman Titan Davis, Top 100 Billings (Mont.) Hermitage defensive back Andre Clarke, four-star Mansfield (Texas) High wide receiver Zion Robinson, three-star Cartersville (Ga.) Cass offensive lineman Bear McWhorter, three-star Washington (D.C.)
