June official visits for Michigan are in full swing, and this weekend, seven targets in the 2025 recruiting class are expected to be in Ann Arbor.

The Wolverine examines where U-M stands with the visitors, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM), the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

Five-star OT Andrew Babalola, Overland Park (Kans.) Blue Valley Northwest

Industry Ranking: No. 20 Overall, No. 4 Offensive Lineman, No. 1 in Kansas
On3 Ranking: No. 14 Overall, No. 4 Offensive Lineman, No. 1 in Kansas
RPM: Stanford (74.8%), Oklahoma (5.3%), Kansas State (3.6%), Michigan (3.0%)
Past U-M Visits: 3/22/24

Andrew Babalola is coming off his official visit to Stanford last weekend, and the newly joined ACC program is the current leader on the RPM. However, Michigan will receive the opportunity to pitch the combination of renowned athletics and academics starting Friday. The Wolverines hosted the five-star in March for spring camp practice, and the junior has been impressed with the offensive line’s development, resulting in two Joe Moore Awards in the past three seasons. Head coach Sherrone Moore and offensive line coach Grant Newsome are leading the way for the suburban Kansas City native.

Top 100 WR Quincy Porter, Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic

Industry Ranking: No. 46 Overall, No. 8 Wide Receiver, No. 1 in New Jersey
On3 Ranking: No. 31 Overall, No. 5 Wide Receiver, No. 1 in New Jersey
RPM: Michigan (26.4%), Penn State (19.3%), Ohio State (16.5%), Oklahoma (8.4%)
Past U-M Visits: 4/4/24, 7/30/23, 4/10/23

Quincy Porter will head into his official visit with Michigan being relayed a path to earn early playing time as a true freshman and become an instant impact asset because of his size, length, athletic, catch radius, and speed. The reigning College Football Playoff winners hold a slight lead on the RPM, and are competing against other top contenders in Ohio State, Penn State, and Oklahoma. The Buckeyes just had Porter, who’s been to Ann Arbor three times, for an official last weekend. Wide receivers coach Ron Bellamy has established a close bond with the elite playmaker.

Top 100 Safety JaDon Blair, Winston Salem (N.C.) Mount Tabor

Industry Ranking: No. 155 Overall, No. 15 Safety, No. 5 in North Carolina
On3 Ranking: No. 85 Overall, No. 8 Safety, No. 4 in North Carolina
RPM: Notre Dame (72.2%), Penn State (7.7%), Virginia Tech (5.0%), South Carolina (3.5%)
Past U-M Visits: 3/21/24

JaDon Blair was recently predicted to commit to Notre Dame two weeks ago by On3’s Steve Wiltfong, but Michigan is firmly in the race for the elite coverage defender. Defensive backs coach LaMar Morgan, defensive coordinator Don “Wink” Martindale, and Moore have all built a relationship with Blair and his loved ones this offseason. The family visited Ann Arbor during spring camp practice, and the cultural aspect of the program caught their attention. Blair’s official visit schedule has been busy this spring, with U-M joining the Fighting Irish, Virginia Tech, South Carolina, Florida State, and Penn State.

Four-star OL Alai Kalaniuvalu, Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman

Industry Ranking: No. 225 Overall, No. 15 Interior Offensive Lineman, No. 4 in Nevada
On3 Ranking: No. 62 Interior Offensive Lineman, No. 5 in Nevada
RPM: USC (32.9%), Michigan (28.8%), Nebraska (18.7%), Utah (5.5%)
Past U-M Visits: 11/25/23

Alai Kalaniuvalu is one of four Bishop Gorman targets this cycle to officially visit Michigan this month. He’s also the last to make the trip, as Top 100 ranked teammates Derek Meadows, Douglas Utu, and SJ Alofaituli have taken officials in the previous two weeks. Kalaniuvalu’s official will be a return, as he appeared at The Big House in late November for the game against Ohio State. His former Bishop Gorman teammate, freshman running back Micah Ka’apana, enrolled a couple of weeks ago and has begun summer conditioning. Other official visits Kalaniuvalu has undergone are Cal, USC, Utah, and Nebraska. Oregon follows U-M next weekend. Moore and Newsome are also heavily involved in Kalaniuvalu’s recruitment.

Three-star WR Phillip Wright, Destrehan (La.) High

Industry Ranking: No. 404 Overall, No. 65 Wide Receiver, No. 10 in Louisiana
On3 Ranking: No. 46 Wide Receiver, No. 10 in Louisiana
RPM: Georgia (29.1%), Michigan (25.5%), Baylor (16.5%), Georgia Tech (13.8%)
Past U-M Visits: 4/20/24

Phillip Wright‘s excellence on the track translates to the football field. Michigan desires the speed of Wright as he possesses a personal best 10.46 100m this spring. Bellamy grew up in the New Orleans area, much like Wright, whose first experience of Ann Arbor occurred on April 20 for the spring game. His trip back to campus this weekend follows official visits to Georgia Tech and Baylor.

Three-star RB Jasper Parker, Marrero (La.) Archbishop Shaw

Industry Ranking: No. 457 Overall, No. 37 Running Back, No. 15 in Louisiana
On3 Ranking: No. 31 Running Back, No. 15 in Louisisana
RPM: Michigan (34.7%), Oklahoma State (22.9%), UNC (19.7%), Auburn (5.8%)
Past U-M Visits: 4/18/24

Jasper Parker yields a unique connection with Bellamy because of the Louisiana ties and the fact that the junior tailback attends the same school from which the Michigan assistant graduated decades ago. The Wolverines hosted Parker for a visit two months ago, just before the spring, and that led to the three-star getting familiar with the facilities and growing a relationship with running backs coach Tony Alford. Battling for Parker includes Oklahoma State and UNC, but relaying how Parker could be a featured ballcarrier in an offense that prides itself on running the ball could be the difference maker for U-M.

Three-star WR Shaun Terry, Ironton (Ohio) High

Industry Ranking: No. 470 Overall, No. 74 Wide Receiver, No. 17 in Ohio
On3 Ranking: No. 78 Wide Receiver, No. 20 in Ohio
RPM: Michigan (30.8%), Kentucky (20.4%), Missouri (17.4%), Notre Dame (9.8%)
Past U-M Visits: 10/14/23

Shaun Terry has been considered a top priority for Michigan, and the attraction of the Wolverines has picked up for the Ohio wideout since his decommitment from Notre Dame earlier this month. Lauded for his return specialist abilities and projected to play the slot at the next level, Terry is commanding high interest from Missouri and Kentucky as well. He was just in Columbia and will head to Lexington after a second trip to Ann Arbor. Terry was last on campus for the game against Indiana last season, and that’s when he notched an offer.
