Michigan has moved up in the On3 Industry team rankings after notching two commitments on Wednesday.

The Wolverines jumped up eight spots from No. 23 to No. 15 and also have the fifth ranked class in the Big Ten conference. U-M currently sits behind USC, Ohio State, Oregon and Penn State.

Michigan’s first commitment of the day came from four-star Mansfield (Texas) High wide receiver Zion Robinson, who committed to U-M over fellow finalists Miami, Nebraska, Stanford and Texas Tech.

At 6-foot-2, 160 pounds with 10.8 100-meter speed, Robinson has the skillset to be a game breaker for the Wolverines. Robinson was also a Texas state champion as a high jumper as a sophomore and starred for Mansfield’s basketball team this offseason.

Robinson is ranked as the No. 22 wide receiver and No. 160 overall prospect nationally, per the On3 Industry Ranking. He is also ranked as the No. 24 overall recruit in the state of Texas this cycle.

Michigan followed up the Robinson commitment with another big recruiting win in On300 Needham (Mass.) St. Sebastian’s offensive lineman Marky Walbridge.

The New England prospect picked Michigan over fellow finalists Alabama, Boston College and Penn State. Walbridge’s decision came shortly after his official visit for Victors Weekend.

At 6-foot-5.5, 285 pounds, Walbridge is ranked as the No. 16 interior offensive lineman and No. 235 overall recruit nationally, per On3. He is also ranked as the No. 2 overall recruit in the state of Massachusetts.

While Walbridge is listed as an interior offensive lineman in the rankings, Michigan recruited him as more of a tackle.

Michigan now has 15 commits in its 2026 recruiting class — Walbridge, Robinson, Top 100 St. Louis (Mo.) DeSmet defensive lineman Titan Davis, Top 100 Billings (Mont.) West tight end Matt Ludwig, Top 100 Newberry Park (Calif.) High quarterback Brady Smigiel, On300 Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin cornerback Brody Jennings, On300 Chicago (Ill.) Simeon EDGE McHale Blade, three-star Cartersville (Ga.) Cass offensive lineman Bear McWhorter, three-star Washington (D.C.) St. John’s EDGE Tariq Boney, three-star Denver (Colo.) Mullen tight end Mason Bonner, three-star Liberty Hill (Texas) High defensive lineman Alister Vallejo, three-star Dallas (Texas) Parish Episcopal wide receiver Jaylen Pile, three-star Hinsdale (Ill.) Central kicker Micah Drescher, Columbus (Ohio) St. Francis DeSales running back Jonathan Brown and Phoenix (Ariz.) O’Connor long snapper Colton Dermer.

Michigan also has the No. 12 ranked transfer portal class this cycle, per the On3 transfer portal index.
