Series Facts: This is Michigan’s third consecutive appearance in the Big Ten Championship Game. The Wolverines defeated Iowa 42-3 in 2021 and beat Purdue 43-22 a year ago. U-M is looking to capture its league-leading 45th Big Ten Championship and third in as many seasons. This will be the 64th meeting between Michigan and Iowa. U-M holds a 44-15-4 lead in the all-time series and has won 15- of the last 23 games against the Hawkeyes. In the last meeting between the teams, Michigan won 27-14 in Iowa City on Oct. 1, 2022.
