Michigan basketball received its 20-game Big Ten schedule for the 2025-26 season. From MGoBlue.com:

In conjunction with the Big Ten Conference, the University of Michigan men’s basketball program announced Thursday (Sept. 18) its 20-game league slate for the 2025-26 season. Tipoff times and broadcast designations will be released at a later date.

Each Big Ten program will have a 20-game league schedule under the format now in its eighth season, featuring two early December games along with a combination of home-only, road-only and home-and-home opponents.

“The Big Ten schedule has continued to be one of the toughest in the country, and this year is no different,” said David and Meredith Kaplan Men’s Basketball Head Coach Dusty May. “We’re excited to host some of the premier programs in college basketball and test ourselves away from Ann Arbor. Our players and staff are eager to embrace the challenges and opportunities ahead.”

Since the Big Ten increased its regular season to a 20-game format in 2017, the Wolverines hold a 9-4 record in early December games, including wins in each of the last three seasons. This year, U-M opens conference play hosting Rutgers on Saturday, Dec. 6, before traveling to College Park to face Maryland on Saturday, Dec. 13.

“It’s been fun,” he said. “I’m having way more fun than I expected to have, honestly. Watching college football as a kid, it was like, ‘Who knows how difficult this could possibly be when I get this much older?’ Just excited to go out every single week and showcase my talents and everything I’ve worked for.”
