How seven Michigan basketball players performed in 2025 NBA Summer League

Michigan Wolverines basketball had seven former players in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. Here’s a look at how they performed.
G Kobe Bufkin, Atlanta Hawks
Former Michigan guard Kobe Bufkin went down with a season-ending shoulder injury in January, but Summer League gave him the opportunity to return to competitive basketball. In four games, starting all of them,
Bufkin registered 19.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists per contest. He shot 35.5 percent from the field and 25.9 percent from three-point range (7-of-27). Bufkin saw a whopping 27 of his points come from the charity stripe, going 27-of-28 on free throws.
The former Michigan standout and No. 15 overall pick in 2023 exploded for two 20-plus point performances — going off for 29 against the Miami Heat July 11 and pouring in 25 versus the Houston Rockets July 14.
C Colin Castleton, Toronto Raptors
An unrestricted free agent, Colin Castleton is entering his third professional season. The big man averaged 2.6 points and 4 rebounds in 11.4 minutes per game during the Summer League.
C Hunter Dickinson, New Orleans Pelicans
Former Michigan and Kansas center Hunter Dickinson saw action in four games with two starts, averaging 17.5 minutes per tilt. He recorded 6.3 points, 3.5 boards and 2.5 assists per clash, shooting 57.9 percent from the field. Dickinson shot 0-of-4 from three-point distance but made 11 of his 15 looks from the field.
The rookie scored a Summer League-high 10 points with 8 rebounds and 4 assists in his final game of the event, in a loss to the Indiana Pacers July 18.
C Vladislav Goldin, Miami Heat
Former Texas Tech (2020-21), Florida Atlantic (2021-24) and Michigan (2024-25) center Vladislav Goldin and the Miami Heat participated in both the California Classic in Sacramento and the Summer League in Las Vegas, so he saw action in six games with three starts, not seeing anyh time in two other contests.
Goldin tallied 9.5 points and 5.3 rebounds per game, including grabbing 1.3 offensive boards on average. He shot 64.5 percent from the field and 15-of-21 (71.4 percent) from the free throw line. Goldin attempted just one three and missed it.
The seven-footer finished Summer League with a bang, splashing the game-winning shot in a 93-92 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks July 18.
