Some photos from Michigan basketball’s summer workouts.
Notably, junior center Aday Mara has made it to campus and is getting work in with his new teammates. The 7-foot-3 UCLA transfer is a native of Spain and remained in his home country for weeks amidst a State Department pause on F1 student visas.
Mara averaged 6.4 points, 4 rebounds and 1 assists per game for the Bruins last season.
Michigan landed its first commitment of the 2026 class in 7-foot-3 center Marcus Moller from Denmark.
The 7-foot-2 center is 18 years old and spent last season playing for Unicaja Baloncesto in the Spanish Tercera FEB — a professional basketball club based in Spain.
Möller competed with Denmark in the FIBA U18 EuroBasket in 2024, where he averaged 13.1 points and 7.4 rebounds.
Moller took an official visit to Michigan this summer, and that helped seal the deal in his recruitment. He also visited SMU, Colorado State and Oklahoma State.
