Sayfie began by setting the stage of Michigan’s win over Villanova.
“It was a really good atmosphere on Saturday for the Rutgers game. We talked about that in our last show,” Sayfie said. “And then it was also really good — even though the crowd was a little bit late arriving for the 6:30 tip off against Villanova on Tuesday, a weeknight. A little bit different than a weekend, but still getting the crowd. A long line for the Maize Rage outside of The Big House and Crisler, heading into the game, which is a good sign, as well.

“Anthony Broome, my co worker at TheWolverine.com, said that he had one of the longest walks into the arena from where he parked that he can ever remember, because of just how packed it was. He might’ve gotten there a few minutes later than he normally does, as well, but still, he was there in plenty of time, and it was a tough time parking.
“Crisler is buzzing! Crisler is buzzing. Michigan with another blowout win. Couldn’t quite hit 90 or 100 points, couldn’t quite get a 30-point win like they did the previous four games. Couldn’t get to the 40 mark like they did in the last three heading in. But, still, another win over a blue blood program. We saw them do it to Gonzaga, and now they blow out Villanova, 89-61.”
