Michigan Wolverines basketball has six former players in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, which runs from July 10 to July 20. Each team will get four games, before the top four squads will advance to the playoffs and the rest participate in consolation games.

Here’s a breakdown of the Wolverines slated to participate.

G Kobe Bufkin, Atlanta Hawks

Kobe Bufkin used a breakout sophomore season at Michigan to get drafted No. 15 overall by the Atlanta Hawks in 2023. Bufkin has dealt with injuries since entering the association, though, causing him to play in only 27 games over the last two years.

Bufkin’s latest injury required season-ending surgery Jan. 7 to address right should instability, but he’s been fully cleared for the Summer League.

“Bufkin is expected to play in Las Vegas but may only appear in a few games before being shut down, a typical approach for more experienced young players returning from injury,” RG.com’s Grant Afseth wrote. “The Hawks plan to use the brief run to evaluate his conditioning, rhythm, and continued development in live settings.”

The Heat began Summer League play early in the California Classic in San Francisco. Goldin participated in two of three games. Here were his stat lines:
