According to Ohio basketball’s Twitter account, Michigan Wolverines basketball will host the Bobcats for a non-conference game Nov. 20, 2022. The Maize and Blue now have eight of their non-conference games on the books for the 2022-23 season.

In head coach Jeff Boals‘ third season, Ohio posted a 25-10 overall record and 14-6 mark in the MAC last season. The Bobcats lost their second MAC Tournament game to Kent State and participated in the College Basketball Invitational tournament (CBI).

The prior season, Michigan’s opponent made the NCAA Tournament as a No. 13 seed and knocked off fourth-seeded Virginia in the first round before falling to Creighton with a Sweet 16 trip on the line. That marked Ohio’s first NCAA Tournament appearance since beating Michigan — which shared the regular-season Big Ten title that season — in the second round of the 2012 event, also a 13 over four upset.
