The hosts began by discussing Michigan’s three games that were already sold out as of Thursday early afternoon — Central Michigan, Wisconsin and Ohio State — and the most anticipated road trips of the season.
“New Mexico — night game, opener — not sold out yet. It will be at some point; they all will be at some point,” Sayfie said. “Washington and Purdue, those ones still available, so if you want to get your tickets now, I’m not trying to sell them, but I thought it was kinda interesting to see which ones are sold out and which ones aren’t.
“As far as road trips, it’s a weird year, in terms of the amount of flights. You have to fly to Oklahoma, Nebraska, USC, Maryland. And it’s also odd that one of the drivable games to Northwestern isn’t at a normal stadium — it’s at Wrigley Field. Of course, then you drive to Michigan State.

“I think I know your answer to this, but how would you stack up the most anticipated road trips for a Michigan fan that’s going to follow the team around this year?”
“Oklahoma, because this is a new thing,” Balas said. “Michigan-Oklahoma — at Oklahoma — is gonna be a blast. Two blue bloods, so to speak. I can’t wait for that one. It’s gonna be fun. A night game, obviously — it’s gonna be hot down there — so I like that.
“It’s interesting: Phil Steele has Oklahoma No. 9 in the country, Michigan No. 10, so it could be a top-10 matchup. I don’t think it will be in the actual polls, but Oklahoma could be better than expected. Michigan’s defense travels, so that could be a fun one.”
The hosts discussed USC and Michigan’s other road trips, in addition to all of the other topics listed previously. Watch or listen above.
