Wolverine TV podcast: Early Michigan-MSU thoughts, self-scouting the Wolverines, hoops media day takeaways

TheWolverine.com‘s Clayton Sayfie, Anthony Broome and Chris Balas offer their early thoughts on Michigan Wolverines football‘s matchup with Michigan State, self scout the Maize and Blue on their bye week, talk U-M basketball and give predictions for college football Week 7 games.
Michigan football will take on Michigan State next Saturday night (Oct. 29) at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC. The Maize and Blue are 7-0 and ranked No. 4 in the country, while the Spartans are 3-4 and coming off a double overtime victory over Wisconsin. On the DraftKings Sportsbook’s early line, Michigan is a 23-point favorite. We discuss that and give our assessment of the Wolverines during the bye week.
Michigan basketball held its media day last Friday, two days after head coach Juwan Howard and select players joined the Big Ten media in Minneapolis. Michigan players raved about some of the freshmen, and we learned a bit about what the rotation could look like.
