Newsstand: Michigan OL Giovanni El-Hadi lands on Outland Trophy preseason watch list

Tweets Of The Day
Michigan graduate offensive lineman Giovanni El-Hadi was one of 50 members of the 2025 Outland Trophy preseason watch list. The Outland Trophy is presented annually to the top interior lineman in college football — offense or defense. El-Hadi was one of 15 offensive guards to appear on the list.
The 6-foot-5, 310-pound El-Hadi started all 13 games at right guard last season. This offseason, he’s switched back to left guard, where he spent the majority of his career in practices and games. While it was his first time as a full-time starter, El-Hadi was no stranger to playing complete games. He opened three games at left guard in 2022, replacing injured Wolverines.

Quote Of The Day
“We want to win a national championship. We want to win a Big Ten Tournament championship, regular season. That’s something that is non-negotiable, something that we have to do. We’re definitely focused on that and doing stuff off the court, on the court, that will help us with that.”
