The hosts began by discussing the stakes for Michigan and MSU this weekend.

“For Michigan, it’s a playoff game,” Sayfie said. “All of these are going to be. You have to really win out to get in the College Football Playoff, most likely. And Michigan State, it’s a big opportunity for them, whether it’s turn their season around or have something to look back on when this season is over and you’re 5-7 or 4-8, if it continues to go on this path. If they somehow pull off a win against Michigan, then that’s what this team is going to be remembered for. This is their biggest game of the year.”

“Yeah, and it better not happen,” Balas said. “If you’re Michigan and Sherrone Moore, you’re still trying to get the goodwill back. He saved himself last year with those last two wins of the year, Alabama and Ohio State, especially Ohio State. Winning those last two games bought him some goodwill. They have not been competitive, really, in my opinion, in the two biggest road games this year.”
