Michigan graduate safety Rod Moore has changed his jersey number back from 9 to 19, he and the program revealed on social media Wednesday. Moore started his career with 19 from 2021-22 but switched to 9 from 2023-24.

Moore spent last season on the sideline, recovering from knee injuries, and says he’s around 85 percent healthy heading into fall camp.

Ohio State head coach Ryan Day said at Big Ten Media Days that he believes the Big Ten is the best conference in football, citing in part the last two national champions: Michigan in 2023 and his Buckeyes in 2024.

The Big Ten has announced its broadcaster lineup for the 2025 football season.

Former Michigan two-time All-American tight end Jake Butt is one of the network’s top analysts, and he’ll travel to all 18 league campuses as part of the training camp tour in August. Michigan’s training camp tour date appears to be Aug. 22, based on the network’s schedule.

Quote Of The Day

“Each league will decide what they think the best conference schedule is for them. In a system where you have allocated spots, I think in talking to athletics directors and coaches, I don’t think we really care how many conference games any league is playing, because you qualify off your conference standing … but when you get to a system that’s increasing the at-larges and increasing the work of a selection committee, that’s when you need to understand how we’re competing in the regular season.”
