Michigan football began fall camp with its first practice Wednesday. Here are some clips released by the program.

According to New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, the organization will unveil a statue of former Michigan and NFL quarterback Tom Brady before the team’s preseason game against the Washington Commanders next Friday (Aug. 8). The statue will be at Gillette Stadium, the home of the Patriots.

Michigan football released its roster for the 2025 season, which revealed that freshman quarterback Bryce Underwood has gained 20 pounds, going from 208 in the spring to 228 now.

ā€œI feel like it’s made me more explosive,ā€ Underwood told The Wolverine of the Michigan strength and conditioning program.

Michigan freshman offensive tackle Andrew Babalola, who’s competing for the starting job on the left side of the line, is up from 300 to 315 pounds after going through the Wolverines’ offseason training.

Michigan senior linebackers Jaishawn Barham and Ernest Hausmann have been named to the Butkus Award preseason watch list. The Butkus Award is handed out annually to the nation’s top linebacker.
