GLENDALE, Ariz. — Michigan Wolverines football and TCU are set for a 4:10 p.m. ET (2:10 MT) kickoff at State Farm Stadium. Winner heads to the national championship game Jan. 9. Follow along below for pregame observations from the press box and field.

Pregame updates
Note: Time stamps are in mountain time
• 1:35 p.m. — Michigan is just finishing up its pregame warmups and will head to the locker room momentarily. The Wolverines’ marching band is gearing up to take the field.
• 1:15 p.m. — Michigan’s offensive line has taken the field for warmups.
• 1:07 p.m. — A look at Michigan’s quarterbacks warming up.
• 1:01 p.m. — Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh takes the field.
• 12:52 p.m. – The U-M wideouts have made their way to the field with both sophomore Andrel Anthony and junior AJ Henning dressed and warming up.
• 12:03 p.m. — Michigan and TCU players are on the field for early warmups. The Wolverines are wearing their maize game pants with long sleeved blue shirts. TCU is in sweatpants and long sleeve tees. It’s pretty loose at this point, with skill players throwing and catching, running routes, etc. The doors have just been opened and fans are beginning to file in.

Series Facts: This will be the first meeting between Michigan and TCU. Michigan’s only prior trip to the Fiesta Bowl came Jan. 1, 1986, a 27-23 win versus Nebraska. U-M quarterback Jim Harbaugh scored on 1- and 2-yard rushing touchdowns and running back Jamie Morris finished with 22 carries for 156 yards. TCU’s lone prior appearance in the Fiesta Bowl was a 17-10 loss to Boise State in 2010 … Michigan is making its second straight appearance in the CFP semifinals after falling 34-11 to Georgia in the 2021 Orange Bowl. This is TCU’s first trip to the CFP.
