USC gets ball first, scores touchdown on opening drive

For the second-straight game, Michigan has allowed a touchdown on the opening drive. The Wolverines won the coin toss and elected to defer its choice to the second half, before marching down 75 yards for a touchdown in 11 plays. The drive was capped off by a 2-yard touchdown from Jayden Maiava to Ja’Kobi Lane, who beat Jyaire Hill to the inside, on third-and-goal from the 2.
USC leads 7-0 with 8:57 remaining in the first quarter.
