Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore met with the media Tuesday morning and said the Wolverines haven’t had any players go down with long-term injuries so far in fall camp. The team was off Tuesday and back to the practice field Wednesday.

Michigan has multiple taglines the players have embraced, including “team over me.” A new one this fall camp is “TNT.”

“We’re really living by this motto of ‘TNT’ — today, not tomorrow,” Moore revealed.

“So, everything we can do today to get better, that’s what we’re trying to do. Not worried about tomorrow — it’s not promised, and yesterday’s gone. So, any mistakes, anything that took place the day before of anything that we did really well, we’re not just going to harp on those things. We’re gonna try to get better in that moment today.”

Oklahoma quarterback John Mateer has gone viral because of screenshots from 2022 Venmo payments have been uncovered where he alluded to sports gambling. Oklahoma is investigating, but Mateer is insistent that he’s never bet on sports. Michigan plays at the Sooners Sept. 6.

Quote Of The Day

“Whoever the starting quarterback is, it’s to raise the level of the team. For [freshman Bryce Underwood], for [sophomore] Jadyn Davis, for [graduate] Jake GarciaMikey Keene — to make sure that they put themselves in position that they’re the best version of a quarterback they can be for Michigan football. And be leaders of the offense. Obviously, we always talk about the offense and team is led by the offensive line, but the quarterback has to be the captain of that room, that offense. Whoever that is, that’s who I want them to be.”
