Michigan junior wide receiver Fredrick Moore appeared in all four games so far this season, but mostly on special teams. He had logged only 18 offensive snaps and no catches, and now has decided to move on to the Wolverines, retain his redshirt for this season and move on to another program after the year concludes.

More from The Wolverine’s Anthony Broome:
Moore, who logged only 18 snaps at wide receiver this season, preserves his redshirt season by leaving now. He will have two seasons of eligibility with his time at Michigan concluded.

Moore played in 30 games in his career with three starts at wide receiver, headlined by a start in the team’s 16-13 win over Alabama in the ReliaQuest Bowl last season, catching his first career touchdown with 3 grabs for 37 yards along with 2 rushes for 8 yards. He had 15 catches for 160 yards and a touchdown in his three seasons.
Coming out of high school in St. Louis, Missouri, Moore was a three-star recruit and the No. 556 overall player in the 2023 class, ranking No. 82 at wide receiver according to the Rival Industry Ranking.

Quote Of The Day

“They’re number one in the country [run defense]. They’re big and stout up front. They’ve got guys that have played a lot of football, and they’ve got hard edges. They’ve got a transfer from Louisville, No. 22, who’s a really good pass rusher, and another edge guy who we actually recruited, Sebastian Cheeks, No. 15, who transferred from UNC, who was a linebacker that now is on the edge.”
