Newsstand: Bryce Underwood official jerseys now on sale

The Michigan Wolverines get the Bryce Underwood era going on Saturday night in Ann Arbor, and now fans can get their hands on his officially licensed jersey.
Valiant Management Group announced on Friday that Underwood’s jersey is now for sale at The M Den with proceeds from his sales going toward youth academics, sports and personal growth endeavors in the Detroit area. Underwood was a star at nearby Belleville High School and came up through the ranks in the metro Detroit area.
“I look forward to making an impact in the city that raised me,” Underwood said, via ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Underwood has been an NIL star so far, inking deals with Beats by Dre and Celsius in his first season in Ann Arbor. He holds a $3 million mark on the On3 NIL Valuation, good for the 10th-highest player in college football.
Underwood’s Michigan career gets going on Saturday night against New Mexico in a game set for a 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff broadcast nationally via NBC. The Wolverines will also be in the national spotlight in Week 2 when they head to Oklahoma, another night game set for 7:30 on ABC. ESPN’s College GameDay will be on campus, analyst Kirk Herbstreit said on Friday.

Michigan quote of the day
Portnoy is a diehard Michigan fan and the best troll on the internet. And Ohio State, apparently, is too soft to allow him on the turf inside Ohio Stadium. Between this and trying to make it a felony to celebrate with a flag on midfield after embarrassing the home team, the once proud state of Ohio has changed. Michigan has beaten Ohio State on the field time and time again, and despite the Buckeyes’ winning the national championship last season — something to be immensely proud of — they continue to show that it eats at them every single day that they were embarrassed on their home field by the Wolverines, 13-10, last November.
