The Michigan Wolverines sit at 3-1 coming off their first bye week of the season and return to game action this weekend in Ann Arbor. They will do so as a three-score favorite over the Wisconsin Badgers, according to the odds released by BetMGM on Sunday.

Michigan is a 16.5-point favorite over the Badgers, who come into Saturday’s game at 2-2 and off the bye, as well. The over/under for total points scored is set at 41.5 with U-M sitting at -800 on the moneyline. The Wisconsin moneyline sits at +560.

As of Monday morning, 82% of the spread bets are on Michigan covering the number, while 91% of the bets are on the over.

Michigan and Wisconsin have not met since the 2021 season, when the Maize and Blue won 38-17 in Madison. The Wolverines lead the all-time series with a 49-15-1 record and a 29-7 mark at home.

Saturday’s game at the Big House, which just set a US record with over 112,000 in attendance at the Zach Bryan show on Saturday night, kicks off at noon Eastern on FOX as part of its Big Noon Saturday coverage. It will be the first time the network will be in Ann Arbor for a game this season.

Michigan quote of the day

“I just got the wind knocked out of me. And I knew I was trying to get up, and I did because I didn’t want people to start having flashbacks or anything. I couldn’t even breathe out there. I was like, ‘(expletive), get up, Aidan, get up.’ And I couldn’t get up, so I was like, just give me like 30 seconds and I’ll be good. And then we got up and we were good. We’re back.”
