On3 RPM: Five recruits Michigan leads for going into official visits

Official visit season is just a few days ago. Here are five recruits Michigan leads for going into a critical point in the process (per the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine).
OL Leo Delaney, Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day
Michigan has a crowded offensive line board this cycle, but it’s clear the Wolverines are making a big push for Delaney. The On300 prospect was originally listed as a tackle but is not projected as more of an interior offensive lineman. Michigan offensive line coach Grant Newsome made an in-home visit last week, and the Wolverines have the heavy lead on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine with a 77.5 percent chance of landing him. Michigan will host him for his official visit on June 13. Clemson and Penn State are the other contenders here.
DL Ben Boulware, Winston Salem (N.C.) Oak Grove
Michigan needs a nose this cycle, and Boulware fits the description at 6-foot-5, 305 pounds. The Wolverines have the heavy lead for the mammoth prospect with a 69.6 percent chance of landing him. Boulware only has two official visits scheduled at this time — Michigan on June 13 and USC on June 20. USC already has a massive class numbers wise, but it appears the Trojans are still working hard on Boulware. South Carolina is still involved here, and Boulware may take his recruitment into the fall. It may serve Michigan better if he moves up his timeline.
LB Nick Abrams, Owings Mills (Md.) McDonogh
Michigan has the slight lead with Abrams going into official visits with a 19.4 percent chance of landing him. This is a very close race, with Alabama, Georgia and Oregon also in the mix. Michigan linebackers coach Brian Jean-Mary made an in-home visit with the On300 prospect last week and is making him one of his top targets this cycle. Abrams already visited Georgia and will now see Michigan on June 6, Alabama on June 13 and Oregon on June 20. Abrams plans to make his final decision in July.

DB Andre Clarke, Richmond (Va.) Hermitage
A four-star prospect, Clarke went on the record and named Michigan his leader this spring. The Wolverines have the momentum going into official visits as well as the lead on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine with a 25.2 percent chance of landing him. Clarke is listed as a safety, but Michigan is making him a priority as a cornerback. Clarke already visited SMU and will see Syracuse this weekend before wrapping up with Kentucky on June 6 and Michigan on June 13.
ATH CJ Sadler, Detroit (Mich.) Cass Tech
Michigan has the heavy lead for Sadler on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine with a 93.0 percent chance of landing him. At one point, it looked like Sadler would be joining U-M’s class this winter. While that didn’t happen, Michigan remains firmly in the mix here. Sadler is a close friend of freshman quarterback Bryce Underwood, which is a plus. Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore is also making it a point to keep top local players home. With that said, there are some moving parts, and Sadler has yet to lock in his OV.
