Michigan hosted a small group of visitors for its blowout win over Central Michigan last Saturday. While the list wasn’t filled with headliners, the Wolverines did impress a handful of underclassmen and now have the lead for three recruits, per the Rivals Recruiting Prediction Machine.

Here is a closer look at the trio of targets.

WR Deandre Bidden, Harper Woods (Mich.) High (2028)

Michigan was supposed to host Bidden for its opener against New Mexico but plans ultimately fell through. The Wolverines were, however, able to get Bidden in for a surprise visit this past weekend. Ranked as the No. 4 wide receiver and No. 11 overall prospect nationally for the 2028 class, Bidden is an elite talent right in Michigan’s own backyard. Bidden will be a huge target for Michigan down the line, and keeping him home is imperative. Michigan has the lead on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine with a 56.2 percent chance of landing him. Others like Alabama, Ohio State, Oregon and USC are also involved. But again, Michigan has the inside track early on. Remember, Bidden plays for former Michigan fullback Rod Oden at Harper Woods.

OL Jakari Lipsey, Kalamazoo (Mich.) Loy Norrix (2027)

The 2027 recruiting class in the state of Michigan is extremely talented and features multiple national level prospects. Lipsey is starting to gain plenty of traction and notched an offer from U-M just days before his visit. Now, the Wolverines have the lead on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine with a 56.4 percent chance of landing him. Lipsey is listed as a defensive lineman by Rivals but is being recruited by most schools as an offensive lineman. At 6-foot-5, 290 pounds, Lipsey has plenty of upside and should be ranked in the near future. He also holds offers from Auburn, Iowa State, North Carolina and others.

DL Errol Demontagnac, Seffner (Fla.) Armwood (2027)

Michigan brought in Demontagnac for a visit and extended an offer on the spot. Now, the Wolverines have the lead on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine with a 75.9 percent chance of landing him. Demontagnac is not ranked at this time, but the 6-foot-3, 270-pounder is an intriguing prospect who could play the three or 4i at the next level. Demontagnac also holds offers from Georgia Tech, Illinois, Iowa State, Kansas State and others. But it’s clear Michigan and defensive line coach Lou Esposito are off to a great start here.
