On3 RPM: Three recruits Michigan leads for after first two official visit weekends

Michigan has hosted several recruits for official visits over the last two weekends.
Here is a look at three targets the Wolverines have the lead for, per the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.
WR Zion Robinson, Mansfield (Texas) High
Michigan didn’t offer Robinson until the winter, and contact dropped off soon after. However, Michigan made a big surge in April and hosted him for the annual spring game before getting him back on campus for his official visit on May 30. Michigan has a big need at wide receiver this cycle, and Robinson knows there is an opportunity to make an early impact in an offense set to air it out a bit more with new offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey and new quarterback Bryce Underwood. Michigan has the lead on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine with a 22.8 percent chance of landing the four-star prospect. Texas Tech is a threat, and Robinson is also set to see Miami and Stanford.

LB Nick Abrams, Owings Mills (Md.) McDonogh
Abrams has a final four of Alabama, Georgia, Michigan and Oregon and is set to make his decision next month. Right now, Michigan has the slight lead on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine with a 19.4 percent chance of landing him. Abrams made his first visit in the spring and returned for his official visit over the weekend. The Wolverines checked a lot of his boxes. Abrams, who is also a high academic student, loved Michigan’s Ross School of Business. He also bonded well with the staff and players and saw himself as a culture fit. Georgia made a strong first impression, and Oregon is a big factor as well. Alabama seems like the least likely landing spot for the On300 prospect.
S Donovan Webb, Frisco (Texas) Panther Creek
Michigan made a big move with Webb on his visit this spring and continued to build some momentum here over the weekend. The Wolverines have the lead on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine with a 21.3 percent chance of landing him. Right now, this recruitment seems like a Michigan vs. Notre Dame battle. The Wolverines did everything right this past weekend, but Notre Dame does get his final official visit on June 20. The Irish have made up a lot of ground quickly after jumping in a bit late. Kansas State also had Webb in for an official visit and is still hanging around. The four-star prospect is set to make his final decision in July.
