Michigan hosted its first recruiting weekend of the fall as it opened its season at home against New Mexico. The Wolverines came away with the victory and impressed several prospects in attendance.

Here is a look at three visitors Michigan leads for, according to the Rivals Recruiting Prediction Machine.

WR Mylan Griggs, Detroit (Mich.) Cass Tech (2028)

Griggs has already visited Michigan a ton and was back in Ann Arbor for the opener. An in-state prospect, Griggs could be a critical target for the Wolverines down the line. He’s an explosive receiver, but he also happens to be a teammate of elite quarterback Donald Tabron, who may be Michigan’s top overall target in the 2028 recruiting class. A Top 150 prospect in his own right, Griggs is ranked as the No. 10 athlete and No. 135 overall recruit nationally, per Rivals. Michigan has the very early lead on the Rivals Recruiting Prediction Machine with a 52.1 percent chance of landing him.

OL Jameer Henry, Detroit (Mich.) King (2027)

Henry was the highest ranked recruit that visited Michigan over the weekend, and the Wolverines are off to a hot start here. The Rivals300 prospect has already been on campus on multiple occasions and is very high on the Wolverines early on. Michigan already has two offensive linemen committed for next cycle but would love to add Henry, who is part of a special in-state class in 2027, to the fold. At 6-foot-5, 261 pounds, Henry is ranked as the No. 23 offensive tackle and No. 263 overall recruit nationally, per Rivals. Michigan has the heavy lead on the Rivals Recruiting Prediction Machine with an 88.4 percent chance of landing him.

EDGE Jaxon Holly, Alpharetta (Ga.) High (2027)

A three-star prospect, Holly is the younger brother of Michigan EDGE Julius Holly, who signed with the Wolverines last cycle. Jaxon is a legitimate prospect in his own right and has an impressive offer sheet with multiple SEC offers from the likes of LSU, Ole Miss and Texas A&M. Jaxon has made several trips to Michigan and the Wolverines should have the inside track to land him, given the staff’s relationship with the Holly family. At 6-foot-2, 215 pounds, Holly is ranked as the No. 37 EDGE and No. 378 overall prospect nationally, per the Rivals Industry Ranking. Michigan has the lead on the Rivals Recruiting Prediction Machine with a 96.4 percent chance of landing him.
