Today, we talk about several potential coaching moves from the Michigan staff after head coach Jim Harbaugh’s recent proclamation about his staff. There’s a lot of talent there, and some will likely move on soon.

“Every one of our assistant coaches will be a head coach,” Harbaugh was quoted as saying. “And I would even say probably four after this season.”

Michigan offensive coordinator/line coach Sherrone Moore is one at the top of the list. He could have landed a job last year, in fact, but he can be picky. He’s in demand.

Michigan defensive coordinator Jesse Minter, too, could be on the list — he could also be a coordinator in the NFL, most likely.

“The coaching acumen and talent is really good,” Harbaugh said of the Michigan staff.

Harbaugh and his staff continue to recruit as a high level, as well, recently landing four-star edge Elias Rudolph. We discuss other targets and where things stand, much more on the recruiting side, as well.

On the basketball front, head coach Juwan Howard and the Michigan coaches are still looking for another guard. West Virginia transfer Jose Perez is the latest to emerge, and it appears the Wolverines will be a serious player here. He didn’t play at WVU last year after being denied a waiver.

We discuss that and more on Michigan basketball in today’s chat, as well.
