Where Michigan stands in On3 Consensus national recruiting rankings

Michigan is still firmly in the Top 10 in the 2023 On3 Consensus national team recruiting rankings after landing Kennesaw (Ga.) North Cobb running back Benjamin Hall.
Hall committed to Michigan over offers from Wisconsin, South Carolina, Purdue, Minnesota, Cincinnati and others. He is not yet ranked in the On3 Consensus rankings.
Hall’s pledge provides U-M with a complementary duo in the backfield as the 6-foot, 225-pound Hall joins speedy in-state ball carrier Cole Cabana. This two-running back class comes after only signing one in 2022 in three-star CJ Stokes.
Because Hall is not yet ranked, Michigan did move in the rankings, staying put at No. 7 overall in the On3 Consensus national team recruiting rankings. The Wolverines have a total score of 89.768, placing them just behind No. 6 Arkansas, which has a score of 90.204

Michigan is very much in play for Top 100 prospects like quarterback Dante Moore, offensive lineman Kadyn Proctor, EDGE prospects Nyckoles Harbor, Samuel M’Pemba and Keon Keeley, cornerback Cormani McClain, wide receiver Jalen Brown, safety Derek Williams, offensive linemen Markis Deal and Monroe Freeling and more. And that means the Wolverines should move up the rankings soon.
The seventh member of the 2023 Michigan recruiting class, Hall joins Top 100 linebacker Raylen Wilson, On300 tight end Andrew Rappleyea, Consensus four-star running back Cole Cabana, three-star wide receiver Semaj Morgan, three-star defensive lineman Brooks Bahr and highly touted kicker Adam Samaha.
Michigan is looking to take around 25 prospects this cycle.
Michigan is the third highest ranked Big Ten school, trailing No. 4 Ohio State and No. 5 Penn State.
