Williams Recruitment
Michigan extended an offer to Williams in the spring and hosted him for his first visit in June. Williams also had a chance to camp in front of the staff at its annual satellite camp in Detroit.
The Wolverines are working to get Williams back on campus for another visit before the end of the season.
USC has the early lead for Williams on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. However, Williams doesn’t appear to be in a rush to make a decision and is keeping his options open.
Here is what Holland had to say about his recruitment.
“USC is obviously the frontrunner here,” Williams said. “The Trojans have already received predictions to land Williams and keep him home. However, Williams visited Michigan this summer, has a good relationship with the staff and actually just saw the Wolverines beat Nebraska during his recent visit to Lincoln. If Michigan can get him back on campus, that will definitely be something to watch. Williams is a long, speedy corner with plenty of elite traits. He’s a big target in 2027.”
