Gregory Recruitment
Michigan extended an offer to Gregory in July and immediately became a contender in his recruitment. This will mark his first visit to U-M.
Penn State has the heavy lead on the Rivals Recruiting Prediction Machine with a 93.7 percent chance of landing him. However, the Nittany Lions haven’t met expectations this season, and it’s clear Gregory is open to other options.
Here is what Holland had to say about his recruitment.
“Michigan needs more speed in the wide receiver room,” Holland said. ‘I’ve talked about it over and over again, but Michigan lacks burners. I don’t think anybody in the current room ran below an 11 100-meter in high school. That’s not good. Gregory brings verified track times and could be a game changer in a Michigan offense that is evolving with new coordinator Chip Lindsey and quarterback Bryce Underwood. He is one of the most important recruits on the offensive side of the ball for next cycle.”
Along with Michigan, Gregory holds offers from Florida State, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Penn State, Tennessee, Texas A&M and others.
