Wolverine TV: Breaking down new four-star Michigan DB commit Jordan Deck

Four-star Frisco (Texas) Lone Star defensive back Jordan Deck has flipped his commitment from Baylor to Michigan.
The Wolverine’s EJ Holland shares his thoughts on Deck in the video at the end of this story.
Deck Recruitment
Deck notched a Michigan offer in May of last year and became of of the Wolverines’ biggest priorities in the secondary this cycle.
Deck made his first visit to Michigan this spring and returned for his official visit in June. At that point, it appeared Michigan had the lead in his recruitment. However, Baylor hosted him for his final official visit and earned his verbal pledge.
Michigan secondary coach LaMar Morgan kept in contact with Deck after his commitment to the Bears and eventually won him over.
Here is what Holland had to say about Deck:
“Michigan needed a tall, long safety this cycle, and Deck definitely fits the description,” Holland said. “I think he can be a better version of Makari Paige while playing that role in Michigan’s defensive scheme. Baylor worked hard to keep him close to home and won him over initially. However, Michigan did a fantastic job of stealing him away from the Bears. I always felt like Deck’s heart was with Michigan.”
