Rivals300 Waco (Texas) Connally cornerback Jamarion Vincent flipped his commitment from Baylor to Michigan this weekend.

The Wolverine’s EJ Holland shares his full thoughts on Vincent in the video above.

Vincent Recruitment

Michigan extended an offer to Vincent this fall and got him on campus for his first visit in October. The Wolverines were also able to get him back to Ann Arbor for The Game over the weekend.

It was there where the Wolverines built some serious steam. In fact, Michigan was able to flip him away from Baylor before his visit came to an end.

Here is what Holland had to say about Vincent.

“Vincent is a tall, long corner with upside,” Holland said. “He’s a plus athlete who also plays quarterback and excels as a basketball player. He’s relatively new to the cornerback position, so he’s still raw and needs some development. Michigan really wanted a cornerback to end this cycle and did a nice job of winning him over on the visit.”

At 6-foot-2, 165 pounds, Vincent is ranked as the No. 24 cornerback and No. 161 overall prospect nationally, per the Rivals Industry Rankings. He is also ranked as the No. 22 overall recruit in the state of Texas this cycle.

Michigan now has 27 commits in its 2026 recruiting class — Vincent, five-star Mineral (Va.) Louisa County running back Savion Hiter, five-star Washington (D.C.)
