Rainer Recruitment

Michigan extended an offer to Rainer in January of last year.

Rainer made his first visit to Michigan this spring and is looking to get back for a game at some point this fall.

Here is what Holland had to say about Rainer.

“Rainer is an intriguing defensive back who best projects as a nickel in Michigan’s defensive scheme,” Holland said. “Michigan is a school high on his mind early on. He’s already visited and is looking to get back. Rainer has a good relationship with Michigan secondary coach LaMar Morgan and is friends with 2026 commit Andre Clarke, who is also from Richmond.”

At 5-foot-10, 175 pounds, Rainer is ranked as the No. 41 cornerback and No. 460 overall prospect nationally, per the Rivals Industry Ranking.
