Wolverine TV: Game clips of Michigan QB commit Brady Smigiel

The Wolverine hit the road last week to Los Angeles, California, to see Michigan quarterback commit Brady Smigiel in action. After a rocky start to his senior season, the Rivals300 signal-caller put together an exceptional performance alongside his Newbury Park (Calif.) High teammates.
Smigiel threw 6 interceptions across his first two games before resetting mentally and delivering his best performance of the season. Despite the 56-35 loss to Oxnard (Calif.) Pacifica High, the future Wolverine quarterback’s performance certainly popped.
He led five-consecutive touchdown drives at one point, throwing for 321 yards with a 71.1 completion percentage. Smigiel tossed 5 touchdowns, converted a pair of critical fourth downs with his legs and did not turn the ball over Friday night.

“I think that’s God’s plan, just putting a little adversity on me, testing me, seeing how I’m going to react, and I’ve grown so much just as a leader in the last two weeks,” Brady told The Wolverine. “I’ve never really had failure like this. Especially my senior year, you’re not expecting it. Coming off a championship, you don’t expect it. But it’s really how you react, and just being able to learn from it is awesome.”
Here’s a look at nearly every passing and rushing attempt from Smigiel in this contest.
