Henderson Recruitment
Michigan extended an offer to Henderson in July of last year and has made him a top priority throughout the entire process.
Henderson made his first visit to Michigan this spring and is now set to return to Ann Arbor for his official visit this weekend.
Here is what Holland had to say about his recruitment.
“Henderson has long been a top target for Michigan this cycle,” Holland said. “Michigan defensive line coach Lou Esposito went down to see him and has been in constant contact. Michigan impressed him this spring but does have work to do on his official visit. Florida and LSU have been garnering a lot of buzz as of late, and Auburn remains in the mis as well. Michigan is a dark horse for Henderson, but he will be a tough pull out of the south. The Wolverines have to hit a home run this weekend.”
Henderson has already made official visits to Auburn and LSU. He is set to see Florida and USC following his trip to Michigan.
At 6-foot-4, 225 pounds, Henderson is ranked as the No. 11 EDGE and No. 59 overall recruit nationally, per the On3 Industry Ranking. He is also ranked as the No. 10 overall prospect in the state of Florida this cycle.
