Adams Recruitment
Michigan extended an offer to Adams in January. While U-M was relatively late to the party, the Wolverines have surged in recent months.
Adams made his first visit to Michigan for the annual spring game and is now set to make an official visit this weekend.
Here is what Holland had to say about his recruitment.
“Michigan jumped in late for Adams, but secondary coach LaMar Morgan has done a great job of making up ground quickly,” Holland said. “Schools like Penn State and Notre Dame have been recruiting him longer. However, Morgan has made a strong impression and is capable of winning high profile recruitments — just like he did with Shamari Earls and Jordan Young last cycle. Michigan needs to hit a home run on his visit this weekend. As a prospect, Adams is a five-star level player. He checks a lot of boxes at corner. He has the height, the length and the speed. In fact, he ran a 10.70 100-meter this offseason.”
Adams has already made official visits to Penn State and South Carolina. After seeing Michigan, Adams will make official visits to Notre Dame and Oregon. He is set to make a decision at some point this summer.
