After waiting months for NC State’s season opener, a 24-17 win over East Carolina, the Wolfpack only had to wait nine days to hit the field again — a refreshing feeling all around Raleigh.  But as the Pack prepares for Virginia, an ACC foe that is set to visit Carter-Finley Stadium on Saturday afternoon (12 p.m., ESPN2) for a non-conference date, there’s plenty it could have learned from the opener. Here are three thoughts ahead of NC State’s non-league game against Virginia.
