Behind the numbers: Inside NC State’s loss to Wake Forest

NC State led by 10 with 11 minutes to play against Wake Forest inside Carter-Finley Stadium, but the Wolfpack’s advantage dwindled as the Demon Deacons dominated the time of possession to take a 34-30 win (you can read more on the Pack’s fourth-quarter collapse here).  But despite the 14 unanswered points Wake Forest was able to score (and its three fourth down conversions) to take the game, it’s time to take a look at NC State’s entire performance in the defeat, using the lens of Pro Football Focus to illustrate how the team played.
