What a difference a year can make. This time last summer, it was star playmaker Kevin Concepcion preparing to lead the NC State wide receivers room into the fall. Now, he’s off to Texas A&M and the Wolfpack is leaning on a pair of Raleigh natives into fall camp. While it would appear senior Wesley Grimes and redshirt sophomore Noah Rogers would have been the perfect homegrown talent stories being the local kids, they’re not. Instead, they’re both in their second season at NC State after transferring in ahead of last year.  Although they didn’t begin their collegiate career with the Wolfpack, both Grimes and Rogers are ready to carry the torch this fall. Grimes, a former Wake Forest transfer, caught 24 passes for 319 yards, while Rogers, who was previously at Ohio State, logged 35 receptions for 478 yards and a touchdown last year. Grimes and Rogers were able to set the tone in spring practice, and that is expected to carry over into fall camp when it begins on July 30.
