How former NC State players did Week 2 of 2025 season with their new teams

Thirty-four former NC State players played this past weekend, with one having an off week.

Class of 2020

Porter Rooks, WR, Eastern Michigan: He played five snaps in a 28-23 loss against Long Island.

Jayland Parker, LB, Marshall: He did not play in a 21-20 loss against Missouri State.

Ben Finley, QB, Akron: He went 7 of 21 passing for 54 yards, and rushed three times for two yards in a 68-0 win over Nebraska.

Sean Hill, G, Tulsa: He started at left guard and Tulsa lost 21-14 at New Mexico State.

Anthony Smith, WR, East Carolina: He has six receptions for 39 yards in a 56-3 win over Campbell.

Devan Boykin, S, Indiana: He had four tackles and one tackle for loss in a 56-9 win over Kennesaw State.

Joshua Pierre-Louis, S, Marshall: He started and had three tackles in a 21-20 loss against Missouri State.

Claude Larkins, DE, Keiser University: He had an off week.

Joshua Crabtree, WR, North Carolina Central: He played 13 snaps in a 54-6 loss at Old Dominion.

Patrick Matan, OL, Montana: He started and the Grizzlies topped Central Washington 42-17.

Ian Williams, K/P, Furman: He made a 34-yard field goal, all five extra points and punted five times for a 49.2-yard average with a long of 55 in a 39-38 overtime loss against Presbyterian.

Class of 2021

Jordan Poole, RB, Nicholls State: He had two carries for zero yards in a 34-10 loss against West Georgia.

Julian Gray, RB, Liberty: He caught two passes for 73 yards and a 72-yard touchdown, and rushed twice for 18 yards in a 34-24 loss against Jacksonville State. He also had four punt returns for an average of 11.0 yards.

Nate Evans, DB, Delaware: He had one tackle for a sack and broke up a pass in a 31-7 loss at Colorado.

Jaleel Davis, OL, Florida International: He started at left tackle in a 34-0 loss at Penn State.

Jakolbe Baldwin, WR, Marshall: He started and had two catches for four yards, plus a tackle in a 21-20 loss against Missouri State.

Lyndon Cooper, C, Pittsburgh: He started at center and had the second-highest Pro Football Focus grade in a 45-17 win vs. Central Michigan.

Class of 2022

Michael Allen, RB, Marshall: He did not play in a 21-20 loss against Missouri State.

Daejuan Thompson, OLB, Gardner-Webb: He didn’t play in a 59-12 loss at Georgia Tech.

M.J. Morris, QB, Coastal Carolina: Went 13-of-22 passing for 102 yards and three interceptions, plus four carries for six yards in a 13-0 win over Charleston Southern.

Nick Campbell, NT, Appalachian State: He played 13 snaps in a 20-13 win over Lindenwood.

Terrell Timmons, WR, Colorado: He played 30 snaps off the bench in a 31-7 win over Delaware.

Davin Jackson, NT, Liberty: He played seven snaps off the bench in a 34-24 loss at Jacksonville State.

Class of 2023

Bishop Fitzgerald, FS, USC: He had six tackles in a. 59-20 win over Georgia Southern.

Red Hibbler, DE, Mississippi State: He had one tackle in a 24-20 upset home win over Arizona State.

Javonte Vereen, TE, Connecticut: He started and played 18 snaps in a 27-20 overtime loss at Syracuse.

Brandon Cisse, CB, South Carolina: He had two tackles in a 38-10 win over South Carolina State.

Kendrick Raphael, RB, California: He rushed 18 times for 131 yards and a touchdown, plus two catches for three yards in a 35-3 win over Texas Southern.

Kevin Concepcion, WR, Texas A&M: He had six receptions for 73 yards and two touchdowns, and had two punt returns for 9.0 yards average in a 44-22 win over Utah State.

Kamal Bonner, OLB, Miami (Fla.): He played three snaps in a 45-3 win over Bethune-Cookman.

Obadiah Obasuyi, OL, Georgia State: He played three snaps in a 38-16 loss against Memphis.

Dacari Collins, WR, Louisville: He played five snaps in a 28-14 win over James Madison.

Class of 2024

Cannon Lewis, LB, Marshall: He started and had seven tackles in a 21-20 loss against Missouri State.

Robby Martin, C, West Virginia: He did not play in a 17-10 loss at Ohio.

Wyatt Wright, LB, Alabama A&M: He came off the bench for 34 snaps and five tackles and half a tackle for loss at middle linebacker in a 41-31 win over Alcorn State.

Tamarcus Cooley, DB, LSU: He had five tackles in a 27-7 win over Louisiana Tech.
