NC State’s offensive line has traditionally been a group of five players left untouched, barring injury, throughout Dave Doeren’s tenure in Raleigh. The Wolfpack would select its top lineman at each position and let them play together for most of the season, sometimes tweaking a spot here or there as the year progressed.  But this season, Doeren and the Pack have taken a different approach. Instead of leaning on the same offensive line group, NC State has created a revolving door at right guard through its first two games. The Wolfpack has featured three different players at the position — redshirt senior Yousef Mugharbil, redshirt sophomore Kamen Smith and true freshman Spike Sowells, all of which saw time in this past weekend’s 35-31 win over Virginia.
