Box score: NC State basketball 104, Nebraska 100 (4 OT)

In a game that featured many emotion swings and dramatic moments, NC State basketball prevailed 104-100 in four overtimes over Nebraska Wednesday evening at PNC Arena in Raleigh as part of the annual ACC/Big Ten Challenge.
The Wolfpack was led by a performance to remember from redshirt sophomore wing Dereon Seabron, who had 39 points and 18 rebounds while playing 57 minutes.
Seabron was one of four players in double digits for the Wolfpack, but the only on the court for most of the overtime. Sophomore guard Cam Hayes (13 points) was ejected in the second half, the aftermath of a skirmish that also featured four ejections on Nebraska’s bench.
Junior guard Casey Morsell injured his ankle near the end of regulation and finished with 14 points. Senior forward Jericole Hellems fouled out in third overtime after having 15 points.

Nebraska was led by 25 points from senior guard Alonzo Verge Jr. and 24 from freshman guard Bryce McGowens, who also played a game-high 58 minutes.
NC State basketball improved to 6-1 on the season and will shift briefly to ACC action against Louisville in Raleigh at 2 p.m. in a game that will be televised by ESPN2.
Nebraska fell to 5-3.
