The silly season has presumably ended for NC State basketball. The Pack gained six transfers and lost five to the portal since the end of last season.



Newcomers to the Wolfpack program from the transfer portal are:

• Arizona State grad transfer guard <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/dj-horne-144163/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">DJ Horne</a>



• Clemson sophomore forward/center <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/ben-middlebrooks-9885/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Ben Middlebrooks</a>



• Stanford junior point guard <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/michael-oconnell-88135/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Michael O’Connell</a>



• Kansas freshman wing/forward <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/mj-rice-90055/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">MJ Rice</a>



• Butler sophomore guard <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/jayden-taylor-58711/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Jayden Taylor</a>



Outgoing transfers from the NC State basketball roster are:

• Redshirt junior forward <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/greg-gantt-46815/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Greg Gantt</a> (UNC Asheville)



• Fifth-year senior forward/center <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/dusan-mahorcic-39434/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Dusan Mahorcic</a> (undecided)
