NC State commitment analysis: What LB Zykir Moore brings to the Pack defense

Pittsburgh (Pa.) Woodland Hills linebacker Zykir Moore is NC State’s latest addition to the 2026 recruiting class. The Wolfpack has been focused on the defensive side of the ball early in the cycle, which has allowed defensive coordinator D.J. Eliot to go to work on landing commits.  Moore, who committed to NC State over Boston College, Toledo, Syracuse and UConn, is his most-recent prospect to pledge to the Pack as Eliot, a proven recruiter before his arrival in Raleigh, continues to prove that in closing on his third target of the cycle.
