NC State football availability report: CB Jackson Vick questionable vs. Virginia Tech

After missing NC State’s 45-33 loss at Duke as he was labeled a game-time decision, redshirt junior nickel Jackson Vick has been ruled questionable going into the Wolfpack’s matchup with Virginia Tech on Saturday night, according to the initial availability report.

Other than Vick, NC State listed 12 players as out for this weekend’s game. That dozen was also listed as out last week at Duke with junior linebacker AJ Richardson being the most notable player off the field. He played in the first two games, but will have missed three straight as of the tilt with the Hokies.

An encouraging sign is senior wide receiver Wesley Grimes, who was also a game-time decision and didn’t play at Duke last weekend, is not listed on the report as he’s expected to play against the Hokies.

Virginia Tech, meanwhile, has 15 players ruled out as the program goes through a coaching change, headlined by starting safety Quinten Reddish, first-string cornerback Caleb Brown and go-to linebacker Caleb Woodson, among others.
