NC State football availability report: CB Jamel Johnson out vs. Florida State

As NC State returns back to Carter-Finley Stadium to open a two-game homestand to close the regular season, the Wolfpack had several key players appear on the ACC availability report ahead of Friday night’s game against Florida State (8 p.m., ESPN).
Senior cornerback Jamel Johnson is listed as out, which will test the Wolfpack’s depth at cornerback. Senior Devon Marshall and redshirt sophomore Brian Nelson are expected to start at cornerback, while redshirt sophomore Michael Tate could be utilized as a rotational player at the position.
In addition to Johnson’s absence, top backup offensive lineman Kamen Smith will also not be available against the Seminoles.
Redshirt sophomore, Teague Andersen, NC State’s starting right tackle, is listed as questionable after leaving the 41-7 loss at Miami last weekend due to injury.
