It was an up and down 2024 campaign for NC State's defense. The unit put up a stout performance against Stanford, but it also allowed 50+ points twice this fall and struggled to close out games, at times. The Wolfpack ranked 15th in the ACC in scoring defense, 14th in total defense, 15th in rushing defense and 11th against the pass this season.
