NC State's defense bent but it didn't break as it kept Florida State off the scoreboard for most of the night in a 21-11 victory over the Seminoles in primetime Friday at Carter-Finley Stadium. Graduate linebacker Caden Fordham led the Wolfpack with 15 total tackles, while redshirt freshman safety Asaad Brown Jr. added 12. Senior cornerback Devon Marshall, meanwhile, logged seven pass breakups and two interceptions to pace the secondary. The former Villanova defensive back was NC State's highest-graded player, according to Pro Football Focus, with an elite 90.5 mark, while graduate defensive end Sabastian Harsh, Fordham and redshirt junior nickel Jackson Vick all posted above-average grades. Let’s take a look at NC State’s full list of initial PFF grades and snap counts with notes to put some of the data into context.
