DURHAM -- NC State's offense found the end zone plenty, but turnovers proved costly as they hampered the unit in the Wolfpack's 45-33 shootout loss at Duke on Saturday afternoon inside Wallace Wade Stadium. Sophomore quarterback CJ Bailey was 29-for-39 passing for a season-best 364 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions, while redshirt sophomore running back Hollywood Smothers logged his third consecutive 100-yard game with 17 carries for 123 yards and a score. Sophomore wideout Terrell Anderson, meanwhile, set a new career high with six receptions for 166 yards and two touchdowns. Anderson was the Wolfpack's highest-graded player on offense in his breakout game, according to Pro Football Focus. Senior tight ends Cody Hardy and Justin Joly weren't far behind, either. Let’s take a look at NC State's full list of initial PFF grades and snap counts with notes to put some of the data into context.
